Applications: Composite hose Compotec®Hitemp is designed for the transfer of hot oil and bitumen under positive or negative pressures. They are used in such applications as transfer for rail and road tanker loading and unloading, storage tank and in-plant use also for cooling application in the Steel industry. On request, it is possible to supply hoses electrically discontinuous (non conductive). The coating can be made in various materials. Additional underlayers of glass fabrics and Aluminium films act as a heat and fire barrier. Special outer cover made with red silicone impregnated silica fabric, combines handling properties and extreme temperature resistance. Hoses are extremely flexible, easy to handle and bend, all hoses are aromatic resistant, antistatic. Tube: NANOTEC® PTFE film. Reinforcement: Inner and outer wires: ZZ: inner and outer – galv. steel; XZ: inner – st. steel; outer – galv. steel; XX: inner and outer – st. steel. Cover: ELASTOTHANE®, a special high temperature resistant PU coated fabric; glass cloth or special silica fabric; its UV, ozone, sunlight and weathering resistance, abrasion resistance. Temperature: -40°C/+200°C Standard: EN 13765:2015 TYPE 4; EN ISO 1746; EN 13765:2010; EN ISO 1402. Safety factor: 5 : 1
