Applications: Composite hose Compotec®Food is suitable for suction and discharge of a wide variety of liquid or food products. It is widely used as well for chocolate, jam, edible or pure alcohol, isopropyl, ethyl, methyl or alcoholic spirits, wine and liquors also for oils transfer, including Palm, Coconut, Sunflower, seeds or olive oils. Hoses are used in such applications as transfer for rail and road tankers, loading and unloading, storage tank.
Non-toxic (phthalates free), antistatic complies with US (FDA) food regulations.
Tube: Polyethylene (UHMW PLT) film, NANOTEC ® PTFE film or polyurethane.
Reinforcement: Inner and outer wires:
XZ: inner-st. steel; outer–galv. steel;
XX: inner and outer–st. steel.
Cover: PVC coated polyester cover fabric, abrasion, UV, ozone, sunlight and weathering resistance.
Standard: EN 13765:2015 TYPE 3; EN ISO 1746; EN ISO 1402; EN ISO 7233.
